What extra-curricular events activities are you involved with on campus? How has that involvement helped you succeed?

• Vice President of HAIS (Hmong American Involving Students)
• Saint John’s Chair of Joint Events Council
• Intercultural Lead Scholar

This involvement has shaped me to be who I am today. It has allowed me to put myself out there and make friends and connect with many Bennies and Johnnies who shared the same views and ideas as me. I was also able to befriend people who encourage one another to do better.

Do you have any advice for current or future communication majors?

Don’t be afraid to get to know your professors. The communication professors are some of the most amazing individuals you will ever meet. They will listen and help you through whatever you need help with.
