The Sports Medicine Minor consists of 24 credits with 20 credits from the required courses and 4 credits from the list of elective courses. (Revised 01/06)
Required Courses:
*Biology 214, or 325 and 326 may be substituted for PHED 258
***In order for courses to be applied toward the Sports Medicine minor, the courses must be completed with a minimum grade of "C".
In addition to the required courses listed above, the student must complete 4 additional credits from the courses listed below. A student must consult with one of the Sports Medicine Advisors prior to selecting the elective course(s). For those pursuing the CSCS or Personal Training certification, NUTR 125 - Concepts of Nutrition Science and PHED 397 Internship are strongly recommended.
