Our Franciscan roots go back to Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi who lived in the 12th century. They, because of their love for Christ Jesus, gave their money and possessions to the poor and witnessed to a life of energy, spirit and peace.

We, the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, Minnesota, are a community of women who dedicate ourselves to a life of prayer and service to others. In the spirit of Saint Francis, we follow the Gospel of Jesus as our highest rule. We are part of the worldwide network of Franciscans, making efforts to be a Gospel presence among all cultures and races.
