Admission Requirements

  1. Previous involvement/leadership in one or more of the following activities:
    • Parish youth ministry
    • High School campus ministry
    • Retreats
    • Region 8 Leadership Camp
    • Diocesan Youth Rallies
    • Parish Council
    • National Catholic Youth Conference
    • Service or justice experiences
  2. A desire to explore more deeply with other like minded youth and adults our faith tradition through discussion, journaling, reading, prayer and reflection.
  3. An openness to service with the homeless, elderly or children.
  4. Willingness to develop parish/community based service-justice project to be completed during the 2008-2009 school year.
  5. YTM is designed for high school students who have completed 10th or 11th grade by June 2008. Some students who have completed 9th grade may be accepted.
  6. Availability to participate in this thirteen-month process that includes:
    • Summer Institute I: June 8-21, 2008
    • January Retreat: January 9-10, 2009
    • Summer Institute II: June 14-27, 2009
