Conversatio: 24-Hour Seminars
The 24-Hour Seminar is a professional development opportunity for pastoral ministers who have a difficult time making space in busy lives. A School of Theology·Seminary faculty or staff member identifies a topic she or he thinks would be of interest to pastoral ministers and designs a process of reading, presentation and discussion.
Up to ten ministers can enroll in a seminar, which is held at the Saint John’s Abbey Guesthouse. The seminar begins at 1:00 p.m. on the first day and concludes with lunch the second day. There is no evening session in order to give participants a chance to enjoy the quiet beauty of the Guesthouse. Sessions generally run from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Day 1 and 9:00–11:45 a.m. on Day 2.
The cost is $75 (includes housing, meals, and resources).
