Internships

Internships are available for undergraduate and graduate students interested in liturgy and music. There are a total of 5 positions available.

Job description: Interns will be required to work for approximately 4-6 hours each day, depending on the convention schedule for that day. Job assignments will be dependent on the skills of the interns. In general, interns will serve as liturgical ministers (cantor, sacristan, lector, acolyte, hospitality minister, etc...) at conference liturgies, assist with conference registration and check out, assist with preparing spaces for breakouts, drive golf-carts, and other assigned tasks.

Training: Interns will be expected to arrive on campus by 4pm, on June 15, for conference preparation and training. 

Benefits:  Each intern will receive complimentary registration for the full conference, housing, and meals for four nights in double-sharing rooms with other interns.  Interns are expected to cover other costs associated with their participation (e.g., travel).

  1. A resume with your name, address, email, phone number, current and previous schools, list of liturgical and/or musical competencies, and employment history (if any).
  2. A letter of intent of no more than 600 words describing your current and previous involvement in liturgy or music and gifts you bring to the conference as an intern.
  3. 1 letter of recommendation from a pastor, music director, professor, campus minister, or equivalent who can speak to your character, interest in liturgy and music, and competence for the internship. The letter must be email directly to [email protected] with subject header "Recommendation for CCMLA internship"
