This day be a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the promulgation of the USCCB document Co-workers in the Vineyard! We will gather in prayer and then explore recent research on the ministerial workplace for lay ecclesial ministers. This conversation will be guided by Dr. Mary Gautier, Catholic Apostolate for Applied Research (CARA) at Georgetown University and Lynda Robitaille, JCD. Mary was the chief research officer for the study on canonical considerations for lay ecclesial ministers sponsored by the Canon Law Society of America.  Lynda is a canon lawyer and has been a consultant for the Collegeville Lay Ecclesial Ministry Symposiums. In appreciation for the support of the United States Bishop’s Conference in advancing the national will towards the authorization of lay ecclesial ministry, Saint John’s School of Theology and Seminary will award Dr. McCord, past executive director of the Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth at the USCCB with the Called and Gifted Award.  Dr. McCord will be the second person to receive this award.  He will speak on Co-workers in the Vineyard—10 Years Later; What do We Have to Celebrate?  This day will be held at Saint John’s University from 9 am to 1:30 pm.  The cost of the day is $20.  All are welcome!
