Campaign Thank You

We are most grateful to all of you who give of your treasure, time, and talents to make the SOT/Sem a vibrant learning community and a leaven of hope for the Church and the world. 

Dear Friends,

The Capital Campaign over the past 9 years has focused upon gaining the needed financial resources to assist the SOT/Sem in educating a new generation of leaders for service in the Church.  Our unique emphasis upon educating together those preparing for ordained and lay ministry in the Church promises to nurture communities of faith in powerful ways.  The body of Christ functions best when diverse gifts and ministries complement and energize one another (cf. 1 Cor 12:1-11).  The components of the capital campaign zeroed in on raising endowments for scholarships and professorships as well as raising funds for the highly successful programs for youth in theology and ministry.  We have reached our goals in these areas and are positioned now to continue to strengthen these critical areas of the SOT/Sem. 

We had the opportunity to celebrate these accomplishments with the University in early October.  But there would have been nothing to celebrate if it were not for you and those who care for and support the SOT/Sem.  We are most grateful to all of you who give of your treasure, time, and talents to make the SOT/Sem a vibrant learning community and a leaven of hope for the Church and the world.  May God bless you! 

We look forward to the years ahead with confidence and excitement.  We have experienced and are grateful for the truth of St. Paul’s statement:  “We know that all things work together for good for those who love God” (Rom 8:28).
