Mar. 20, 2004:  spoke (in French) in Ned Dubin’s course:  Topics in French Civilization: La Fille ainée de l’église, on the topic of Joinville: La Vie de S. Louis, and Jacobus de Voragine: St Denis (from La Légende doré), and on the importance of hagiography as it relates to French royalty.

Jul. 2004: Gave lecture (causerie) (in French) for the Sisters of St Benedict at the Monastery of Notre Dame d’Ermeton, Ermeton s/Biert, Belgium, on “Lectio Divina from a Franciscan Perspective”

Summer 2004: Finished translation project of Jan van Ruusbroec’s OPERA OMNIA: Die Gheestelike Tabernakel, which is scheduled to come out with Brepols publishers (Corpus Christianorum Series: Continuatio Medievalis) in Spring 2006. These last three volumes will terminate the entire project, which has been ongoing with members of Antwerp’s Ruusbroecgenootschap for over 25 years.

2003- Continued to serve as member of SJU Bookstore Theology Advisory Committee (met Oct 28)

2004-2005: Served as Co-Chair/ member of Faculty Development and Research Committee

2004-2005: Continued to serve as member of the St Cloud Diocese Ecumenical Commission (and reappointed for another three-year term beginning May 2005

2004-2005: Served as Eucharistic Minister in St Peter’s Parish, St Cloud, MN throughout the year.

Oct.-Nov. 2004: Served on an ad hoc committee of Department of Theology, to reshape the university Spiritual Development Design

Spring 2004: Participated in faculty reading group discussions on Thoreau’s WALDEN

Oct. 6, 2004:  Introduced Dr. Patrick Henry at “Collegial Conversations”series, who spoke on “Left Behind with the Da Vinci Code: What’s the Christian to do?” Centenary Room, SJU.

Nov 12, 2004: Participated in SOT ADVENT/CHRISTMAS RETREAT, at Episcopal House of Prayer. 

Dec. 1, 2004: Gave a session for adults and for confirmation students in the Faith Formation Program, in St Mary’s Cathedral program, on “Prayer and Icons.”

Dec. 2: 2004 Served as a faculty moderator/discussion leader for local pastoral ministers in a morning session on Peter Steinfels’ A PEOPLE ADRIFT.

Jan. 7, 2005: Gave retreat conference for YTM program: “Theology and Spirituality of the Desert.”

Mar. 18, 2005: Gave a day of retreat to the Curia of the Diocese of St Cloud, on “The Spirit of Vatican II: Challenge to Spiritual Growth”, at the Episcopal House of Prayer.

Apr. 14,  2005: Gave session for Continuing Education Program at the Benedictine Center, St Paul Monastery, St Paul, MN, on “Extreme Asceticism” as part of a series of “Theologians on Discipleship.”

May 7, 2005: Participated in a panel of two on “Forty Years of Women’s Spirituality at Kalamazoo: A Round Table of Reminiscence, sponsored by Magistra: A Journal of Women’s Spirituality in History. It was part in the Medieval Conference (held at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI) from Wednesday to Sunday, May 4-8.

2004-2005  Served as academic advisor to students of spirituality and on comprehensive examination boards. Gave several foreign language exams.
