What is Day at the Capitol?
Social Work Day at the Capitol is an opportunity for professional social workers and social work students to come together and lobby state lawmakers about matters of social policy that affect our clients, our profession and the citizens of Minnesota. This year, discussion by the legislature and the governor on the status of the budget will have a crucial impact on meeting human needs in the state of Minnesota. Because we are social workers, our voices must be heard!
Social work day at the Capital will be held in March or April during the legislative session. Details to come.
