The Student Development Office is lead by Fr. Doug Mullin, OSB, Vice President, who oversees the daily administrative functions of the following offices located on the SJU campus: Athletics, Campus Life, Campus Ministry, Life Safety Services, Center for Men's Leadership and Service and Residential Life. Jointly, with Mary Geller, Vice President of Student Development at the College of Saint Benedict, other areas include Career Services, Counseling and Health Promotion, Intercultural Center, International Student Programs, Student Activities and Leadership Development, Student Human Rights and Upward Bound.
The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University Student Development divisions, informed by our Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts and residential tradition, understand student learning as dynamic and interactive within the academic community and the holistically developing individual. We provide opportunities for young women and men to become more aware of their responsibility to promote the common good, to understand themselves as gendered people and to fully engage as reflective leaders in an increasingly intercultural and global community.
