Located on 2,400 acres of woodlands and lakes in central Minnesota, Saint John’s University is the ideal setting for groups both large and small.
Saint John's physical setting lends a quiet beauty to campus. The buildings reflect its rich 150 year history and a 1,500 year Benedictine heritage. Wildlife is plentiful.Birds, deer and other animals make their home in the woods surrounding the campus, which is a state game refuge. It is a peaceful environment, conducive to reflection and simple appreciation.
We are located just 70 minutes northwest of Minneapolis and St. Paul and 15 minutes west of St. Cloud on Interstate 94. Saint John’s University is a Catholic Benedictine-sponsored educational institutional founded by the monks of Saint John’s Abbey.
In keeping with the Saint John's mission, activities held on campus generally are of an educational or informational nature and include artistic and cultural programs. Services and facilities found at Saint John's complement those found at the College of Saint Benedict (its academic partner), in St. Cloud and throughout the Central Minnesota area.

During the academic year, Saint John’s University can host one-day conferences and meetings.
