How We Serve Our Clients

Saint John's University provides the following services to its guests: 

Conference and Meeting Management

Saint John's University Conference and Events Office will be a resource for all services related to a conference meeting.  This includes:

  • Event planning
  • Dining and housing arrangements
  • Budget development and funds management 
  • Exhibitions, poster sessions and vendor displays 
  • Social events and VIP arrangements 
  • On-site check-in services
  • Meeting room setup and AV 
  • Transportation arrangements 

We are happy to provide the services above.  You choose the theme, educational content, and presenters for the meeting and we’ll do the rest.

      

Campus Conference and Meeting Services

Saint John's University is a perfect location for a conference, event, or meeting. Conferences and Events Services will centrally coordinate all arrangements with campus departments to assure seamless support for your important meeting. This includes:

  • Arrangement of economical on-campus lodging in student 
    residence halls (summer only) 
  • Food arrangements for dining or first-class catering 
  • Scheduling and setup of classrooms, lecture halls and meeting facilities 
  • Special arrangements for large meetings in the Sexton Arena of the Warner Palaestra. 
  • Trade shows and exhibitions 
  • Banquets, receptions, picnics and other social events 
  • Cross coordination among campus departments 
  • Availability and use of campus recreation facilities, including the McGlynn's Fitness Center the Warner Palaestra Pool, the Lake Sagatagan Beach, the Watab Picnic Grounds and softball and athletic fields. 
  • Directional signs and parking 

Event Planning

Large events and many small ones require multi-department, campus-wide planning and coordination. Saint John's University Conferences and Events Services can arrange everything from staging to security to food, parking, and other arrangements. We will communicate with all on campus departments such as life safety, building and grounds, electric shop, parking and environmental safety to assure that all needs and potential problems are covered.

Ginger is responsible to manage the campus as a summer conference center.  She provides professional planning assistance for clients and coordinates housing, catering and special services.  She assists event and meeting planners in organizing and executing conferences that result in outstanding, successful events. 

 

Jeff Wubbels

Jeff has over twenty years of experience working with clients in the hospitality industry. He is responsible for the delivery of conference services to both internal and external clients.  He assists meeting planners with reserving campus facilities, event planning, and summer conference housing and catering.

As Executive Director, Dave is responsible for the overall management of Dining and Events at Saint John’s University.  He has twenty-five years of hospitality experience and provides leadership and support to the Events staff and meeting planners.
