Room Lease Agreements:
The following lease agreements have been drawn up and implemented to lay out and explain the expectations and rules for living on campus at a certain time.  At Housing Selection, students sign a lease for their specific room, demonstrating that they have read and agree to comply with the rules set out in the lease.

Room Condition Reports:
Prior to moving into their residence, all students have to complete a Room Condition Report to document prior damages or needed repairs.  Once the student has moved out, Custodial Services will evaluate the room damages/repairs and compare them to the Room Condition Report.  Any discrepancies may be charged to the student, so please carefully evaluate the room and fully document any damages/repairs before move-in to avoid fines.

Extended Stay Request:
For students planning to stay on campus beyond the required semester/holiday break move-out deadline, you MUST fill out an Extended Stay Request to be given permission.  This form will be sent out in an email prior to each break.

Living Off-Campus:
In order to live off-campus during the academic year, each student must fill out an Off-Campus Request form to indicate their intent and be granted permission from the University.  If you have not been granted permission to live off-campus and are found to be off-campus, you may be billed room and board.  To avoid these problems, please fill out and submit the request.

Summer Housing:
Each summer, some students are allowed to live on campus for class or work.  Please note the stipulations:  SJU students must be working a minimum of 20 hours per week OR taking a class at CSB/SJU.  CSB students are allowed to live on the SJU campus for the summer if they are working a minimum of 20 hours per week for a job at SJU, but may not if they are only taking a class at CSB/SJU.  Please submit a request to live on the SJU campus for the summer.  **Cost for Summer 2009 is $49.00/week**

Housing Application:
Students accepted to SJU for the first time must fill out an application with their housing and personal preferences so they can be paired up with a roommate and appropriate housing for the academic year.  Please print, fill out and return the application to SJU Campus Life and Housing.

Peer Judicial Board:
The Peer Judicial Board hears serious cases involving SJU J-Book violations and determines responsibility and sanctions including suspension/expulsion.  If you are interested in learning more or applying, check out the application!
