Saint Thomas Hall, one of two residence halls for freshmen, was designed by Marcel Breuer and Associates of New York City. Constructed in 1959, all rooms feature wall-to-wall windows with concrete sun screens to avoid solar heat gain. All rooms are wired for voice/data/video and wireless. Rooms and corridors are carpeted. Every floor has a student kitchen and two lounges with decks.
The basement level contains a recreation room and houses the offices of the Life Safety Services department.
