Work on Phase I of the Stephen B. Humphrey Auditorium roof and tuck pointing is well underway. Tuck pointing began on April 20 and is now complete, and the roofing work began in mid-June. To allow adequate space for scaffolding and construction materials/equipment, an area surrounding the northern portion of the building has been fenced off and is restricted to pedestrian traffic. The south door of the building is to be used as the primary building entrance, and locks on all other doors have been temporarily changed to prevent access.
Scaffolding will be removed from the site systematically, as sections of the roof are completed. All work on Phase I is expected to be completed by mid-October.
