Sources on the History of Saint John's

I am writing a research paper about Saint John’s history. What are some sources I can use to help me with paper?

Here are some primary sources that are available in the libraries.

Abbey Quarterly, 1983-2000

Contains a number of historical articles from bees to The Titanic. An online subject index created by the archives is available at The Abbey Quarterly Index

Catalogue of St. John’s University, 1867-1979

A great reference to the growth of the University. From 1867-1954, the catalogue includes a list (roll) of students for each year.

The Saint John's University Record

A good overview of the early history of the University from 1855-1907. An index has been created for the book and is available in the archives.

The Scriptorium
