They have been fixtures in the community for decades. They have never stopped teaching and are always learning.

Fr. Rene McGraw, Ph.D. '58, SOT ‘62, associate professor of philosophy and faculty resident, and S. Colman O'Connell, OSB '50, CSB president emerita and senior development officer, embody purposeful lives.

The two Benedictines demonstrate "the power of positive attitudes, living in supportive communities, practicing a religious faith, sharing wisdom and challenging your brain with new ideas," wrote Liz Fedor in her MinnPost article.

Those of us fortunate enough to know them know that Fedor was correct in writing, "...it's apparent that they both view each day as an opportunity to do something good for somebody else. They also have a zest for learning that has not diminished over many decades and they are open to new experiences."
