SJU Trades Coal for Natural Gas
02/10/12 - Coal has been the dominant energy source on campus since the 1940s. In a move toward sustainability, SJU has made the switch to natural gas. While more expensive, the cleaner fuel will help reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 58 percent.
