All new and returning students are required to have a health insurance policy in place while attending Saint John's. Since the Affordable Care Act requires domestic students to have health insurance coverage, domestic students no longer need to provide the company name and policy number of their health insurance provider. If you need coverage, you can request to purchase coverage from the company the college provides access to in the Forms Portal. To access the Forms Portal, go to the Admission website, Admitted Student, Forms Portal Login or visit the Student Portal.
International Students are required to have a health insurance policy in force while attending Saint John's University. International Students will be enrolled and billed for the Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan from Student Assurance Services (SAS). If International Students have other comparable health insurance coverage, they can have the University's coverage removed and the health insurance premium refunded from their student account by providing the heath insurance company name and policy number in the Forms Portal. You must submit proof of coverage prior to the end of the first week of classes. To access the Forms Portal, go to the Admission website, Admitted Student, Forms Portal Login or visit the Student Portal.
