McKeown Center

McKeown Center

The McKeown Center was designed by Lee Tollefson of the Rafferty Rafferty Tollefson Lindeke architectural firm of Saint Paul and was constructed in 2009.  The community center, which is located in the Flynntown area, is a fantastic location for students to meet, study, and host events. The space features a full kitchen facility with a dining room, a lounge space accented with a two-sided fireplace, study rooms, a computer lab, and a break-out area. The upper floor contains an apartment for a Faculty Resident, and the basement houses a laundry room and a recreation room. The McKeown Center was named after alumnus Thomas W. McKeown '52.

The McKeown Center is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold certified.
