Community Partner Role in Service-Learning

• Know and understand service learning concepts and theory
• Prepare meaningful learning experiences for CSB/SJU students that furthers the mission of your organization and the quality of life for the people it serves.
• Be aware of student learning goals
• Communicate any concerns and successes with Service Learning staff and professor
• Attend requested meetings- initial presentations, reflection discussions, and preparation and planning meetings
• Complete semester end evaluations of students
• Provide adequate supervision including orientation and training
