This team is responsible for appreciation and recognition activities for student employees and supervisors (i.e. Student Appreciation Carnival)

This team will promote supervisory opportunities through the use of on-line services. This includes maintenance of the SELT homepage, on-line registrations, on-line evaluations, and promotion of all events. This team will also be responsible for monitoring the SELT Outlook account and the discussion boards.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR SUPERVISORS
This team is responsible to plan and promote leadership opportunities for student employment by providing professional development sessions for supervisors where they will gain additional information relative to supervising student employees, creating an environment for leadership and supporting annual SELT goals.
This team will sponsor a minimum of 1 professional development session for supervisors per semester.
This team will collaborate with other departments or groups that provide training (i.e. HR, Health at Work, Vocation Project, Journey Program, Career Services, Student Activities & Leadership Development) to encourage co-sponsorship of events.

This team will develop ways to enhance the working relationships within SELT membership by providing team building activities at each all-SELT meeting, promoting membership in SELT, celebrating special days (i.e. birthdays), and by sponsoring retreats. This team will also connect new members with more seasoned members in a mentoring program (if requested).

This team is responsible to plan and promote leadership opportunities by providing “SELT HELP” sessions for supervisors and for student employees. These sessions will focus on “nuts and bolts” issues for student employment (i.e. supervisory skills, student employee transferable skills, career development).
This team will sponsor a minimum of 2 sessions per semester (one for supervisors and one for student employees). This team will collaborate with other departments or groups that provide training (i.e. HR, Health at Work, Vocation Project, Journey Program, Career Services, Student Activities & Leadership Development) to encourage co-sponsorship of events.

WISE LEADER TRAINING
This team will sponsor student employee training sessions for all 1st year students working through the student employment program. The training will be focused on student employment essentials and will incorporate leadership and vocational development.
The WISE leader training will be co-facilitated by staff and student members of SELT. Approximately 20 sessions will be offered for student employees during fall and spring semesters.
