The session was facilitated by Jeremy Ploof and Kurt Stelten on November 9, 2006 in Quad 264. 36 people attended the session.
Jeremy and Kurt used role plays as the core of the session. They presented several role plays of student and supervisor and then gave groups of 6 at each table time to discuss each scenario and report back to the large group their ideas and suggestions. We explored ways that were ineffective and effective. There was much interaction among the large group. The most common finding in all scenarios was that great communication is a necessity for effective leadership. We also discussed the importance of clarity, authority and discipline.
