Emerald Leadership Certificate
SELT is partnering with the Inspiring Leaders Certificate Program (ILCP) to off
er the Emerald Leadership Certificate. The Emerald Certificate is designed to provide opportunities for students and student employee supervisors to enhance personal and professional skills that include defining workplace expectations, helping prepare students for promotions and higher level supervisory positions, gaining meaning from workplace culture, and providing assistance in transitioning to work after college.
The Emerald Certificate will be awarded upon completion of four required professional development sessions, three optional sessions, and submission of a reflection on professional development.
Required Professional Development Sessions:
- Leadership Challenge
- Conflict Management
- Creating Successful Working Relationships (required for students, optional for supervisors)
- Responsibilities & Expectations for Student Employees (required for supervisors, optional for students)
