Posting Promotional Material at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's Univeristy
In an effort to make the posting process as user-friendly as possible, Student Activities will abide by the following posting policy :
1. All departments, clubs and organizations will be responsible for posting their own poster/flyers in approved posting locations only (see list below).
2. Student Activities will remove and recycle outdated postings.
3. Student Activities will stamp posters for all club events to indicate that they are approved. (Bring fliers to Mary Commons 217, CSB or Sexton 127, SJU)
4. Departmental posters that advertise institutionally sponsored events will not require a stamp from Student Activities. Departments and organizations will be held accountable for content.
All departments, clubs and organizations must adhere to the following regulations:
Posters that do not meet the above criteria will be removed.
Sexton Commons (1-2) Post below the 1st floor in the stairwell (with tape!)
Simons Hall (1) Ground floor (split posters between both boards
Refectory (1) Drop off in Dining Services office on first floor (office by Quad entrance)
Quad (1) First floor between Financial Aid and Student Accounts
Library (1) Upstairs to the right (before the entrance to 1st Floor
Peter Engel (1) Main entrance (left side)
Off Campus Postings: There is no place to post off-campus announcements at SJU
Large Posters: 1 large poster per event can be hung in the Sexton Stairwell (Large posters cannot exceed three foot long or three foot wide)
Haehn Campus Center (4)
HAB (2)
Ardolf Science Center (2) Both Main Entrances
Clemens Library (1) Bulletin board near computing center, bathrooms
BAC (2) Right and left sides of north entrance
Mary Commons (2)
Main Building (1) Second floor, left side
Off-Campus Postings: 1 bulletin board in the HCC Pool hallway; this is the only location where posters without a campus sponsor may be hung
Large Posters:
(Large posters cannot exceed three foot long or three foot wide)
Posting material for Residence Halls should be dropped off at Student Activities in Mary Commons 217, CSB or Sexton 127, SJU
CSB Residence Halls:to post in the residence halls, items must be stamped by Student Activities and then brought to the Residential Life office for approval and posting. There are 47 residential posting places. Materials that are posted without the necessary stamp of approval will be removed. SJU Residence Halls: posters to be hung in the residence halls must be approved by Residential Life. For further information please refer to the posting policy at the following link: http://www.csbsju.edu/jbook/policies/solicitation.htm#E24E40. Materials that are posted without the necessary stamp of approval will be removed.
Table Tents: Student Activities is responsible for printing the WOW table tents displayed in McGlynn's Gorecki, Sexton and the Refectory. If you wish to submit information for the table tents, please email stuactiv@csbsju.edu. Student Activities reserves the right to decide what information will printed. Table tents other than the WOW tents are not allowed in the dining areas.
