Obtaining a Club Account Number

For new clubs*
  1. The club is officially recognized.  This means that the club has been approved by the Joint Club Board, Student Activities and the Vice Presidents of Student Development from CSB and SJU.
  2. A notice is sent out from Student Activities and Leadership Development confirming official recognition of the club.
  3. The Co Funding Board Chairpersons decide whether the club account will be housed at CSB or SJU, and they assign a senate auditor to oversee the account.
  4. For clubs based at CSB, the CFB Chair will contact the Director of Student Accounts to obtain an account number. (Clubs housed at CSB will be assigned an auditor from the CSB Senate--click here to see a list of account locations)
  5. For clubs based at SJU, the CFB chair will contact the SJU Business Office (Jeremy Scegura) to obtain an account number. (Clubs housed at SJU will be assigned an auditor from the SJU Senate--click here to see a list of account locations)

Please note:  Upon receiving notice of a club's official recognition (step 2), it is up to the CFB to initiate the process of assigning an account number (step 3).

*If an existing club does not have an account number, they should begin with step 3 and contact the CFB.

If you are the treasurer of an established club and need your club's account number, please e-mail Trish Doran or call Student Activities at x5038.
