Chalking        

All chalking on the CSB and SJU campuses must be approved through Student Activities and Leadership Development prior to the date that the chalking is to be done.  Please check with Maribeth Overland (x5273), Trish Doran (x5038) or Gwen Schimek (x5755), Mary Commons 2nd Floor to get approval for chalking.

Chalking should be informational in nature only. Appropriate chalking will include

• event name
• date of event
• location of event
• event sponsor

Chalking cannot express opinions, advertise alcohol or contain information antithetical to the Benedictine mission of our institutions.

All chalking must be done in areas which will eventually be washed away by rain. 

Typical location(s) for chalking include

• CSB and SJU bus stops
• outside of the HCC and near the flag pole at CSB
• outside of Sexton and the Quad at SJU
  

No chalking is to be done under awnings, partitions or near the Japanese garden/fish pond area at CSB.
