An alcohol permit needs to be completed for any event at which alcohol will be served and students are present. Even if your event is being held in Brother Willie's Pub or O'Connell's, a permit is still necessary to serve alcohol in conjunction with a specific event.
The alcohol permit form can be obtained from the Student Activities and Leadership Development office and must be signed by the director of Student Activities, Maribeth Overland. You should allow at least two weeks to obtain an alcohol permit, since you will also be required to meet with either CSB Security or SJU Life Safety to discuss a security plan for your your event.
