 Senior Bennie Ball | Saturday, April 14
8PM - 11PM: HCC Fieldhouse, CSB

 Q: When is the last day to purchase tickets?

A: Tickets may be purchased online until a week before the event. Tickets pay be purchased via cash or check at Grad Finale or at the door.

Q: What are the ticket prices?

A: $20 for a pair; the pair includes a spot for you and your guest at the dance.

Q: What if I want to buy 2 student tickets and 1 single Ticket?

A: Buy the ticket $20 for pair (senior student + significant other), and adding an extra ticket would cost an additional $10.00.

Q: Will there be a dinner at this event?

A: No, so please make sure to eat before coming to the event. There will be light snacks, appetizers and a full cash bar available. 

Q: Do I need to bring a confirmation to get into the event?

A: No, attendees will check in near the CSB Rec Desk. If you are receiving this email, we already have you & your guest(s) listed as attendees. Extra tickets will be sold at the door on a first come first serve basis.

Q: Will there be a photographer? How much does it cost to have picture taken?

A: Yes, professional photographer Jerry Curry will be present at this event. Cost will vary by the size and number of photos ordered. Most packages are under $25.00.

Q: Who will be the live entertainment?

A: Slip Twister, one of Minnesota's favorite party bands, will make this event memorable with a diverse collection of songs. For more information: http://sliptwister.com/

Q: Who should I bring as my guest?

A: Any important older male guest with whom you would like to share this special event: father, step-dad, grandfather, coach, or faculty member.

Q: What if I have two very significant male figures in my life?

A: You can purchase an additional ticket for your additional significant figure/.

Q: I am an international student. Whom should I bring as my guest?

A: It is perfectly fine to attend with friends or invite a faculty/staff member to join you as your guest. These events are to celebrate your time and accomplishments at Saint Ben's. Don't worry about formalities. These events are for all Bennies no matter the situation!

Q: I am not able to make it to the event, can I be refunded?

A: Refunds can be made up to the week before. Please email the Student Activities office at [email protected] if you have questions or special circumstance.

Q: If I want to purchase an alcoholic drink at the cash-bar, do I need my driver's license?

A: Yes, there will be a full cash-bar and you must present an ID of at least 21 years of age. Your student ID will not work, so don't forget your license at home.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Most Bennie participants wear an evening dress and most guests wear a suit or slacks and nice shirt. Remember that this is a multigenerational dance - dress your best. 

Q: Anything else I should bring?

A: Your camera! This event is all about celebrating your milestones at Saint Ben's and this is a great opportunity to take a special photo with your dad or significant make figure! Be sure to smile big and get excited for this fun event.

Senior Bennie Brunch | Sunday, April 15th
11:30AM - 2PM: HCC Fieldhouse, CSB

 Q: When is the last day to purchase tickets?

A: Tickets will be available at the Grad Finale and can be purchased online until a week before the event. 

Q: What are the ticket prices?

A: $30 for a pair. Ticket pair includes entry to the luncheon for you and your guest.

Q: What if I want to buy 2 student tickets and 1 single ticket?

A: Buy the ticket $30 for pair (senior student + significant other), plus additional $15.00 for significant other.

Q: Do I need to bring a confirmation to get into the event?

A: No, attendees will be checked in at the entrance to the Fieldhouse. If you are receiving this email, we already have you down as an attendee; if a paren purchased the ticket, their email has been listed and was used for this email.

Q: What kind of food will be available at this event?

A: We will offer a buffet style breakfast meal with a variety of foods. A special table will be located near the main catering line. Catering staff will ask your name and then provide you with your special entree. No additional dietary requests can be accommodated at this point; all meals have been ordered.

Q: Who are the speakers?

A: A nominated Senior CSB Student and her mother, the Dean of Students, a CSB Senate Representative, and the President of CSB or Vice President of Student Development.

Q: Will there be a photographer? How much does it cost to have pictures taken?

A: It is perfectly fine to just come with friends or invite a faculty/staff member to join you as your guest. These events are to celebrate your time and accomplishments at Saint Ben's. Don't worry about formalities. These events are for all Bennies no matter the situation.

Q: What is the agenda?

A: Attendees should start arriving around 11:30am to get a table. Official festivities begin at noon. It is recommended that you find a seat right away when you arrive.  Activities include: a speech by a current Bennie and her Mother, table activities, mimosas, and prize giveaways.

Q: What do people wear?

A: Usually comfortable spring dresses or a nice blouse and pants are typical.

Q: Is there Mass beforehand?

A: Yes, Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Chapel at 10:30 am. A special prayer for mothers, daughters, and significant female figures will take place. The Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict invite all to this celebratory Sunday Mass.

Q: Is there anything else I should bring?

A: Your camera! This event is all about celebrating your milestones at Saint Ben’s and this is a great opportunity to take that special photo with your mom or another significant female figure in your life! Be sure to smile big and get excited for this special event. 


  

  Senior Farewell | Friday, May 11th
4:00PM - 7:00PM: CSB Mall

 Q: When is the last day to purchase tickets?

A: There is no deadline, but online ticket sales end on May 10th, you can still purchase tickets the day of the event. However, there will be limited t-shirt sizes available, so order your tickets early to ensure your sizing!

Q: What are the ticket prices?

A: Tickets are $15 only when purchased at Grad Finale on the 16th and 17th of March. After that, tickets will be $20 per person.

Q: Do I need to bring a confirmation to get into the event?

A: Purchasing a ticket means that you will get an alum shirt. Wear your alum T-shirt on the day of the event because it will be your ticket into the event.

**T-shirts will be delivered to your mailbox 1-2 weeks before the event.

Q: If I live off-campus or graduated last year in December, how do I receive my t-shirt?  

A: Please check-in at the entrance of the event at the CSB Mall. We will have your t-shirt ready for you to pick-up at the event. If you rather have the t-shirt to a friend's mailbox on campus please email [email protected] directly for your request. 

Q: What type of entertainment will be there?

A: Photo booth, live music, food, games, and a senior class photo. Faculty and staff are also invited. It's a good way to talk to professors and faculty members before graduation.
Overall this is a great community send-off event for those about to graduate!

Q: What type of meal will be available?

A: Included in your ticket: outdoor picnic meal with burgers, grilled chicken, pasta salad, watermelon, and more! Beer garden is not included but is available for a very low price!

*Later that evening at the Sal's Bar parking lot, there will be late night pizza as a thank-you to all seniors. Gary's Pizza will be served to all those in their senior T-shirts after bar close. Senators and CSB/SJU staff members will serve the after-bar refreshments.
