Frequently asked questions about Little Sibs Weekend

What is Little Sibs Weekend?

Little Weekend is an annual college tradition that offers a unique opportunity for siblings, cousins, or younger friends of CSB/SJU students to spend a weekend on campus.

When is Little Sibs Weekend?

Little Weekend 2016 will take place March 4-6 at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University.

Which age groups can come to Little Sibs Weekend?

The weekend is full of activities specifically directed at ages between 5 and 13 years old, but guests of all ages are welcome and would enjoy this fun-filled weekend.

What kinds of activities are offered?

There will be live performances by comedian groups, professional magicians, movies, arts & crafts, interactive games, and access to athletic facilities.

How does registration work?

The Little Sibs Weekend website has the link to the registration form. Each CSB/SJU student hosting a Little Sib needs to complete a registration form.  After registration is received, a liability waiver form will be sent to the Little Sib's parent/guardian and should be completed online or by mail. As soon as both forms are submitted (registration and release of liability), the Little Sib will be set to attend all events!

Registration will be available Wednesday, January 20 through Thursday March 3rd.

What if I didn't register before March 3rd?

Please print the following registration form and turn into Mary Commons Information Desk upon arrival and talk to your RD/FR about having a sibling stay overnight.

A Parent Waiver Form must also be completed prior to dropping off your form at Mary Commons Information Desk. If you need a printable form, follow the link below and send it to the SALD office.

What should Little Sibs do once they arrive on campus?

Little Sibs can arrive anytime on Friday, March 4th. Little brothers that are staying overnight at SJU should have their host resident check in with their FR upon arrival.

What food options are available for guests?

No additional meal passes are given during Little Sibs weekend. Students are encouraged to attend the Little Sibs Brunch Saturday morning from 10:45-12:15 at Brother Willies Pub. Purchase Little Sibs brunch tickets here. For other meals, students may use their guest passes or flex to purchase guest meals. Parents can also send money with their child for them to purchase meals. Price of meals at McGlynns or Sexton can vary, but are typically around $6.00. The menu and pricing of meals at CSB culinary and SJU dining areas can be found online.
