CSB and SJU together enrolled 3,864 first-year to senior students in fall 2012. The students hail from 40 states and 34 countries. CSB's enrollment this fall is 2,031 students. Undergraduate enrollment at SJU totaled 1,833.
CSB and SJU have been recognized nationally by their peers in the recently released U.S. News and World Report 2013 college rankings. Both CSB and SJU were again ranked among the top 100 liberal arts colleges in the country.

Wow! It feels like they just got back to campus and already we are talking about midterms and registration for spring semester. On Oct. 19, first-year students will receive midterm grades. The Academic Advising Office will send out a letter to any student who receives a "CD" or less as a midterm grade.
This year, the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University welcomed 60 incoming first-year international students from 17 different countries. To help them acclimate to college life in the United States, CSB/SJU offers an international student mentor program which aims to help the new students adjust to the cultural differences.

Registration holds for fall 2012 registration will be placed on accounts by Oct. 15. A registration hold on your son's or daughter's account will take effect if their tuition account balance is not current or if they have not completed the Payment Agreement Form. If their account has a hold, they will be notified by email from the Student Accounts Office.
Join us for Family Weekend 2012 on Oct. 26-28, a time students anticipate as an opportunity to introduce their families to their extended ones here at CSB/SJU. We encourage you to attend as many events as possible.
A reminder to parents with daughters who currently live on the CSB campus but will be graduating, studying abroad, student teaching, interning, withdrawing or transferring to another college for the spring 2013 semester: students must cancel their Housing Agreement by Nov. 1. Students began receiving information regarding the cancellation procedure Oct. 1. Companions on a Journey, a group spiritual companioning program for women at CSB, kicked off the year with a Fall Welcome and Orientation Banquet on Sept. 16. Journey Groups are composed of about five Bennies from the same grade and two women co-facilitators from the faculty, monastic community, or broader St. Joseph community. Each Journey Group meets monthly to share their reflections on life and faith.
More than 60 students have applied to lead an Alternative Break Experience trip. ABE works to provide meaningful, service-oriented trips, both nationally and internationally. We also had 12 students commit to serving together every other weekend in the St. Cloud area through our J-Walking ministry. Lastly, more than 30 students applied to work at Feed My Starving Children one Saturday evening through our Urban Plunge ministry.
The CSB/SJU Intercultural Center celebrates the 15th annual Festival of Cultures from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Hahn Campus Center at CSB. Music, dancing, food and fun highlight the diversity on both campuses. It is open to the public and free of charge.
