CSB President MaryAnn Baenninger announced her plans to step down in June 2014. She remains open about her future, but plans to live in proximity to family. The CSB Board of Trustees will begin a search immediately, with the expectation that a new president will take office on July 1, 2014.
On Friday, Sept. 27, Saint John's Abbey and University announced their latest and most ambitious capital campaign, Forward Ever Forward. The goal for the campaign, which runs through 2016, is $160 million, of which $108 million has already been committed in gifts and pledges.

Talk about long odds! CSB alumnae Tanya Carlone, Amanda Hintz, Brenda Leuer and Mary Schmelzer, class of '90 and junior year roommates, all have daughters who are now first-year students at CSB. Read their story in the St. Cloud Times.
Peace First Prize is a national award recognizing students focused on creating peaceful schools and communities. CSB senior Danielle Liebl earns a two-year, $50,000 fellowship for her work.
The College of Saint Benedict is celebrating its 100th anniversary this academic year. In honor of the centennial, CSB has commissioned two new books that are available at the bookstore.
The CSB/SJU Symphonic Band concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, in Escher Auditorium on the CSB Campus.
The Donald McNeely Center for Entrepreneurship is soliciting nominees for the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. The Entrepreneur of the Year Awards were first presented in 2011 and have been repeated annually.
While students still turn out plenty of traditional written research reports, increasingly they also use multimedia to learn in new ways. The Libraries and Media Services have recently expanded their capacity for supporting student media production.
