Three CSB presidents honored at Midwinter Luncheon

Former CSB Presidents S. Emmanuel Renner, OSB, S. Colman O'Connell, OSB, and current CSB President MaryAnn Baenninger all received the SJU President's Medal and Citation at the annual Midwinter Luncheon in Minneapolis.

Visiting scholars teaching classes at CSB and SJU

Registration holds now in effect for fall

Registration holds for fall 2014 have been put on your son or daughter's account if their account is not current. The students have been notified by email that they are on hold for registration in April.

Campus Ministry plans senior mother/daughter Retreat

CSB Campus Ministry's mother/daughter retreat is scheduled for noon-3:30 p.m. April 12. Time will be spent in prayer and reflection celebrating the mother/daughter relationship and looking forward to life beyond CSB. The retreat will start with a light lunch. CSB Campus Ministry to host Mass on graduation day

CSB Campus Ministry invites all CSB seniors, their families and friends to begin graduation day by attending either the 9:30 or 11 a.m. Mass in the Sacred Heart Chapel. Bishop Donald Kettler, the new bishop of the St. Cloud Diocese, will preside at these two celebrations. It will be a time to give thanks for the abundant gifts of these four years and send our graduates off with a special blessing as they go forward to make a difference in the world.

March is Women's Month

Women's Month, sponsored by the Sister Nancy Hynes Institute for Women's Leadership and the CSB Student Senate will host a variety of events during the month of March. Find the full list of events for Women's Month.

The Record claims Best of Show award at newspaper convention

For the third year in a row, The Record captured Best of Show for a four-year weekly newspaper at the 23rd annual Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) Best of the Midwest Conference at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Minneapolis.

The award recognizes the publication as the best weekly college newspaper in the Midwest. Besides the run of three straight honors, The Record also won the award in 2008.

Saint John's hosts Maple Syrup Festivals

Maple syruping has been an annual rite of spring at Saint John's since the 1940s when sugar shortages prompted the monastery to learn the maple syrup production process. For 70 years, members of the Saint John's community have carried on this tradition. This year's Maple Syrup Festivals will be held on March 29 and April 5.
