SPAN 355-01A Topic: Latin American Women Writers (HMU)
This course explores the writing and other cultural production (including film) of Latin American women whose work spans the nineteenth century to the present. Readings and class discussions will focus on representation, self-representation, and feminism in the wider context of gender, sexuality, class, and ethnicity in Latin American society and intellectual thought. We will approach our study of the material and its context from multiple critical perspectives.

This course is designed to be taken while students are on a study abroad program to fulfill the experiential learning requirement for the management major. This is a NEW requirement for management majors studying abroad. MGMT 380 will include reading assignments and a final paper that connects theory, reflection, and practice. Additional information will be forthcoming on the requirements for this 1 credit course.
