Professor of Marketing in the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, and held the Pillsbury Company-Paul S. Gerot Chair in Marketing. He has served as visiting professor or distinguished guest lecturer at many of this country’s leading universities and in France and Poland. More recently, and in addition to teaching, is the Executive Vice President of Strategic Management at Marshall BankFirst Corp., Minneapolis. Dr. Roering has been a consultant to numerous national corporations and board member of private and public companies, and directed and participated in numerous management development programs domestically and internationally. He has also served on numerous editorial review boards of scholarly journals and published more than 70 articles, written two books and edited three collections of scholarly writings. Dr. Roering’s undergraduate degree is from Saint John’s University and his doctorate is from the University of Iowa. Dr. Roering and his wife Betsy live in Minneapolis.
