Rene McGraw, OSB

Associate Professor of Philosophy and Peace Studies - Fr. Rene earned his BA in philosophy from Saint John’s University in 1958, and his MA and PhD in philosophy from Duquesne University and the University of Paris, respectively.  He joined the Saint John’s monastery in 1955, and was ordained in 1962.  Since his ordination, he has taught philosophy and peace studies at the University.  McGraw rejoins the board after serving as a regent for twelve years and for four years on the predecessor to the Board of Regents.  During this term, he will be a member of the Student Affairs Committee of the board.
