Dale Launderville, OSB

Associate Professor of Theology, Saint John’s University - Fr. Dale earned a BA in philosophy from Saint John’s University, a MD from Saint John’s School of Theology • Seminary, an MA in semitic languages and literature from Catholic University of America, and a PhD in semitics from Catholic University.  He has taught in the School of Theology •Seminary and Department of Theology at Saint John’s University since 1981 and has taught for the Novitiate of Saint John’s Abbey since 1986.  He served as the Dean of the School of Theology • Seminary from 1990 to 1999.  He is a member of the Catholic Biblical Association, the Society of Biblical Literature, and the Biblical Colloquium.  Fr. Dale professed solemn vows in 1975 and was ordained in 1979.
