Canning Fok

Group Managing Director of Hutchison Whampoa Limited, Hong Kong since 1993.  Canning earned his BA from Saint John’s University and a diploma in Financial Administration from the University of New England in Australia.  He is also a Chartered Accountant.  He joined Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited in 1979 and became Deputy Managing Director in 1987.  In 1984 he became Executive Director of Hutchison Whampoa until his current appointment in 1993.  He is also Chairman of Hutchison Telecommunications, Partners Communications Company Limited, and Hutchison International Ports Holdings Limited. Canning is also Co-chairman of Husky Energy Inc., and Deputy Chairman of Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings Limited and Hong Kong Electric Holdings Limited.  He still serves as Director of Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited.  He is married with four children and resides in Hong Kong.
