The Peer Resource Program (PRP) is a student outreach organization branching out of the Personal and Professional Development Center of Saint John's University. Members of the PRP are students from both the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University who work to enhance the college experience by creating awareness of issues and aspects of college life and life after college.

Programming is the primary method in which the PRP reaches out to students. In both formal and nontraditional settings, PRP programming integrates a variety of elements including:

  • risk-taking
  • awareness
  • self-growth
  • trust
  • wellness
  • creativity

The PRP helps to create new student groups, as well as challenge and aid in the development of existing groups.

The main services and programs provided by the PRP benefits the members, the students, and the entire college community. Members of the PRP learn and develop leadership and facilitation skills, as well as organization and group dynamics.
