Meet the Members

Dominik Ruch (Co-President)

Year: Junior

Major: Political Science major, French minor

Years in Mock: This is my second year in Mock

Why did you join?: I joined Mock because I have had a passion for law for a long time. In high school, I used to read Supreme Court opinions in my free time. That, combined with the fact that I actually enjoy public speaking, made the legal profession seem like a logical career to pursue. Mock is helping me to familiarize myself with the legal world, and to determine if litigation is an area of legal practice I want to pursue in law school and beyond.

Favorite part so far?: My favorite part so far was the U of M tournament. This team became a family to me at that tournament, and I really enjoyed getting to know everyone better. A close second favorite part was having Adam Schwartz as co-counsel at the Macalester Tournament. I thought we played off of each other very well
