The Benedictine Law Fest is a reception organized by the CSB/SJU Benedictine Bar Association for students, alums and pre-law advisers interested and involved in law.
Law Fest will be hosted by Dorsey & Whitney LLP on Thursday, April 9 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
A bus will be provided for the CSB/SJU students, faculty/staff and alum coming from the campuses; bus times are below.
Food and refreshments will be provided. There is no cost to attend event - it's FREE thanks to our generous sponsors.

The judicial year in many jurisdictions around the world is traditionally opened with a Red Mass. The celebration of the Mass is designed to provide judges, lawyers, civic leaders and academics of all faiths the opportunity to reflect on the powers and responsibilities that are part of their offices. Together, Red Mass participants ask God to grant the virtues and gifts necessary for the proper and just administration of their duties.
First Day of Law School Event - Tuesday, March 25th, 2014, at TRC Boardroom, CSB.
Professor Mary Pat Byrn, Associate Dean for Administration at William Mitchell College of Law, presented a mock class and answered other questions about the first year law school experience.

Midwest Law School Fair - University of Minnesota - Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013
In collaboration with the four Minnesota law schools; The University of Minnesota Law School, Hamline University School of Law, the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and the William Mitchell College of Law, The Upper Midwest Law Fair provided prospective law students an exclusive opportunity to meet with law schools from around the Midwest region. Held this year at the campus of the University of Minnesota Law School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the fair also included a panel of current law students answering questions about student life and a resource table for information on financing a legal education.
The Law School Forum was held Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Here is the panel presentation by representatives from University of Minnesota Law School, Hamline University School of Law, St. Thomas School of Law and William Mitchell College of Law.
CES: The Graduate School Process. September 10, 2013. Stephen Foertsch, a 2009 graduate, sat on the panel. He completed Law School and his story and tip were of interest for Pre-Law students.

Kay Pranis has served as the Restorative Justice Planner for the Minnsesota Department of Corrections from 1994-2003. Kay will be discussing Restorative Justice in Minnesota on Monday, at the Gorecki Center.

The third annual Upper Midwest Law Fair is hosted by four Minnesota law schools including Hamline University, University of Minnesota, University of Saint Thomas, and William Mitchell College of Law. Many additional schools attend as well to inform students about the law school application process and their specific programs.
