The Saint John's Pottery Studio and its Artist in Residence, Richard Bresnahan, are a vital part of the Saint John's community.
The Pottery Studio embodies the Benedictine values of community, hospitality and self-sufficiency as well as the University's commitment to the integration of art and life; the preservation of the environment; the linkage between work and worship; and the celebration of diverse cultures.
Moreover, it is a unique academic experience for students at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University as well as for art students from colleges around the Midwest.
The Pottery Studio draws throngs of artists and visitors to campus throughout the year.
