Size  26 by 28 - 33 um in diameter
Shape  prolate or suboblate to spheroidal
Exine 1 - 5 um thick
Intine  .5 - 1.2 um thick, much thicker below apertures
Furrows 3 - 4 (-6) colpate, colpi long and narrow
Sculpting  reticulate
Bloom Period  March - May
Allergenicity  Considered major offender in MInnesota (Spring Pollinosis), but in general, Ash do not elicit severe responses
