Description: POLS 111, Introduction to U.S. Politics (4 credits); An introduction to the study, analysis, and evaluation of U.S. political institutions, processes, and policies. Subjects of the course include the structures and limits of the federal government; the linkage functions of political parties, interest groups, the media, and individuals; and the process of democratic decision-making. Offered every semester.
