Senior students were nominated for the “Five Principles of Exemplary Leadership” awards, and sophomores and juniors were eligible to be nominated for the Emerging Leader award. Nominations were submitted from within the CSB/SJU community by professors, faculty, staff, and OSB. The review process includes a selection committee made up of peers, professors, OSB, and faculty/staff that will choose two exemplary students to receive an award in each category.
At 5 p.m., Sunday, April 20, 2008, in the Gorecki Conference and Dining Center, all nominees will be formally recognized for their leadership at the Inspiring Leaders Recognition Banquet. The award recipients will be announced at the banquet.
Students who have achieved certification through the Inspiring Leaders Certificate Program (ILCP) will also receive their official certificates at this time. Carliene Quist '07, the “Excellence in Leadership” award recipient from 2007 will be the keynote speaker at the banquet. Families and friends of the student leaders are invited to purchase tickets to attend the event. For further information and to purchase tickets ($10) contact the Office of Student Activities and Leadership Development at 320-262-5254 or via the SALD Web site.
