Environmental Educator Fellowship

Saint John's Outdoor University has experienced rapid growth since the founding of environmental education programming in 1997. The fellowship position allows our organization to tap into the creativity and energy of recent graduates while providing opportunities for hands-on experiential learning and valuable on the job experience.

This position assists with the direction and coordination of the environmental education programming at Saint John's Outdoor University. This position will assist in teaching the environmental education curriculum and assist in developing new programming and curriculum for preK-12 students, College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University students, and the general public.

  • 12 month, non-exempt, full-time, benefit eligible
  • Position runs May 31, 2016 through June 2, 2017
  • Bachelor of Arts or Sciences in related field required by May 31, 2016
  • A recent graduate (within 4 years) from an accredited institution of higher learning
  • Compensation includes hourly wage plus benefits; furnished housing on Saint John's campus; $500 signing bonus and $500 completion award
  • Background check required
