Orientation 2008 Fall Orientation Schedule*

Welcome to the Saint Ben’s/St. John's Community!

     Throughout your four years at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, you will hear the word community more times than you can count. More importantly, you will feel the communal character that defines the St. Ben's/Saint John’s experience. During Fall Orientation you will come to understand what it means to be a Johnnie or a Bennie and what the Saint Ben's/Saint John’s community is. You will also have ample opportunities to get to know other community members, which include CSB and SJU new and returning students, faculty, staff, sisters and monks.

                Parent Information Sessions to be offered on each campus from

1:00pm-3:00pm (Saint Johns)

10:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-3:30pm (Saint Benedict)

                Business Office, Financial Aid, Student Employment and Student Resource Offices open from

1:00pm-4:00pm (on each campus)

Bookstore open from

9:00am-6:00pm (on each campus)

                Community Picnic on each campus from

11:00am-1:30pm (on each campus)

                Resource Fair on each campus from

2:30pm-4:30pm (Saint Johns)

11:00am-1:30pm (Saint Benedict)

                Family Liturgy on each campus from

                Orientation programming:

Say goodbye to your first year student, first year orientation begins following the family liturgy!

                Transfer student orientation  time to be announced

                Dinner with Student Leaders on respective campus

                Settling in and preparation for first day of classes

Wednesday, August 27^th:

                Convocation on each campus  9:00am

                Classes Begin

                Community BBQ  5:00 – 7:00pm

 

Thursday, August 28th

Orientation programming at CSB 7:00pm-8:30pm/9:00pm-10:30pm
