Help us keep up with the ever-changing world of health care. That's why we have sponsored an international study program for nursing students. And, because nursing is both a science and an art, we are doing innovative work as both a vocation and as a ministry. We want our students to be ready for a career in nursing in every way.

Program Highlights
- For the class of 2008, 91% (40 of 44) of CSB/SJU nursing majors passed the licensing exam (NCLEX-RN) on the first attempt.
- Involvement in Kappa Phi, the local chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International
- The nursing department sponsors an active Nursing Club that includes state officers and national-office nominees and committee members.

Overview of Program
The nursing major:
- Integrates the fundamental sciences required for professional nursing practice with the liberal arts curriculum that helps you care for patients holistically.
- Unlike other programs, does not include a chemistry requirement.
- Senior students immerse themselves in a clinical setting. They take on the full RN role under the guidance of a preceptor and faculty member.
