NRSG 112 Medical Terminology course is a self-study course. In fall term the exam is administered 3-4 times during September-November. Dates for spring term offerings will either be negotiated with the students or offered in group sessions, depending upon the size of the group. Only one testing is needed if you pass at 75%.
The text we are using is: Quick & Easy Medical Terminology, (latest edition). By Peggy C. Leonard, BA, MT, Med. Soft cover. The CSB bookstore has ordered these texts but they are also available through Amazon.com. Most sophomore nursing students have a text that they may be willing to sell.
The exam is a multiple choice test of about 100 items. It takes about 45-60 minutes to complete the exam.
Fall testing dates will be posted in August.
